Ebay Problems. Search DLL. and EbayISAPI DLL

Postby Lateral Thinka » Tue Nov 14, 2006 7:51 pm

Hey,

I'm having problems with eBay, when trying to search
i always get a download message saying i need to
download Search.Dll, i download it, not sure what it does.

I would appreciate if you could advise me to get rid of this
pesky download message so i can browse on eBay.

My first thoughts was Mozilla Firefox playing up. But i tried
Explorer and it didnt work either. I changed to an earlier version
of Firefox, still didn't work.

When i get on, this whole page of writing pops up, about cookies and other such ramblings.

Please, Help

Sincerely`Lateral'`Thinka'

The problem is the browser misinterpreting the web page. Search.dll is an executable that runs on the eBay servers to perform the search and should never be downloaded. Sometimes you just need to try the page a second time to make it behave.

Can you post more detail on the pop up messages?

cheers, Paul

When you download something you get this screen.

Well in this case you get Search.dll, I hope you use Firefox.
Because it will be easier to explain
