Android on ACER D250 Netbook

Postby RDee » Wed Nov 18, 2009 4:20 pm

There is a 24 Hour special on the ACER D250 10" netbook from CitySoftware.

What is curious about this is that it comes not only with Win XP Home but can dual boot to the Android OS (platform?).
Hence posted in this part of the forum.

So, a lot of Android smartphone web applications will be available on a much bigger screen than a mobile phone.
Could lead to some interesting future Android Apps tailored to a netbook's characteristics.
This review is not particularly complementary on the Android implementation.

Overseas the Windows 7 version of this netbook is about $US20 dearer than its Win XP version. This should translate to about $A30 here.
