SATA HDD Docks

Postby RDee » Wed Jun 02, 2010 11:09 pm

Spotted in Silicon Chip, June 2010.

A Jaycar advertisement lists two new SATA HDD Docks:

- A dual HDD dock that takes two SATA drives, 2.5" or 3.5" or one of each with an ability to clone one drive to the other. Just by pressing the built-in clone button. Catologue No. XC-4695. Also works for SSDs. Its unclear what limitations may apply.

- A USB 3.0 SATA 2.5"/3.5" HDD Dock. Catalogue No. XC-4696. Useful for faster read and writes.

There may be other brands that provide these features but these are the only ones i've seen so far.
