Petition for etax filing cross platform compatability

The Australian Taxation Office's electronic tax submission software (etax) only works on a single proprietary platform and is supporting a monopoly and denying taxpayers freedom of choice. Join other users in demanding that the ATO produce a cross-platform solution as expeditiously as possible. This solution should at least work on the three most popular platforms, Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, and ideally should be a platform-independent implementation so as not to preclude other choices of personal and business computing platforms.
